    New Tablet Reveals Messiah's Resurrection

    A tablet containing over 80 lines of Hebrew was uncovered. Standing 3ft tall, the tablet dates from right before Yeshua's birth and seems to be stirring up the archeological and Biblical worlds because it may talk of a messiah who will rise form the dead after three day. If this message is confirmed, it will cause a re-evaluation of the popular and scholarly views of the role of Yeshua and his crucifixion, death and resurrection.

    For someone who is brand new to the community, the Messianic terminology can often be confusing. Here's a quick reference for common names and definitions used in the Messianic community.

    Root of Jesse

    The Root of Jesse refers to Isaiah's prophecy in which the Messiah is to come from Jesse's family lineage through his son, David, who is to be king in Jerusalem. The Gospel of Matthew begin with the description of Yeshua's family tree, "The record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, son of Abraham..."
