    Things are really heating up in Israel as blatant discrimination against Messianic Jews living in the land has risen sharply, following the Bible-burning escapade in Ohr Yehuda by a group of ultra-Orthodox Jews.     In Israel, a resurgence in the number of Jews who believe in Jesus, know as Messianic Jews, is getting a lot of attention. It is the opinion of many leaders that the growth is the strongest it's been since Yeshua and some believe that the Messianic movement could be on the verge of a great revival. Leaders feel that that it is the first time where the Israeli society in general is so open to consider who Yeshua is and is considering Him as the Messiah.

    The Israeli-Hezbollah prisoner swap was completed today at the Israeli border. Hezbollah returned the bodies of 2 Israeli Defense Soliders that went missing in the 2006 Lebanese War. The fate of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser remained unknown until this morning, when the Red Cross carried two black coffins across the border into Israel. 3 comments

This year, a damper was put on the festive event when two rabbis demanded the cancellation of the quiz. The reason? Bat-El Levi, a 17-year old finalist from Israel, was a Messianic Jew.

This evidence was well documented by the heavily bureaucratic German government itself because they were proud of their efforts.
