First off all there is nothing from Torah, the Prophets and the B'rit Chadashah or in Gentile terms nothing from Old testament to new testament that commands a gentile to observe Chanukah.

Should We Celebrate Christmas?
Submitted by: Ahava, December 4th, 2008 Topic: Messianic Forums - Today, Christmas is a very popular holiday. However, as is often the case, what is popular is not always right and what is right is not always popular. Christmas means 'mass for Christ'. The name of the holiday is much newer than the holiday itself. The customs associated with Christmas, in one form or another, have been celebrated for literally thousands of years. 'Christmas' is just a new name for an old holiday. 1 comment

Signs of the End Times
Submitted by: Ahava, November 5th, 2008 Topic: Messianic Forums -
With the current situation in the Middle East and a noticiably high level of natural disasters occuring around the world, these events have many people wondering if the end times signs are falling into place. In Judeo-Christian religions, the End times are often depicted as a time of tribulation that precedes the appearance or return of the Messiah, Yeshua...
Gerut
Submitted by: nybergjohn, November 3rd, 2008 Topic: Messianic Forums - There are those who come to belief in Messiah Yeshua as native Jews. There are those who find the Melech as Gentiles. There are, however, a large number of people who are born Gentile and, through study and prayer, decide that they wish to become Jewish. This is a natural thing for some who wish to bond completely with Yeshuas people; to share their joys and their sorrows. 1 comment

Shalom Rabbi
Submitted by: Tzidkenu, October 4th, 2008 Topic: Messianic Forums -
A couple of months ago, I had an email conversation with a Rabbi in the North Eastern U.S. about a sermon he wrote for his synagogue on why Jews should not be evangelized. I sent him an email rejecting his position and lo and behold, he actually responded. What ensued was a dialogue over a few days on why I could not be Jew. This is the essence of what we believers face from the community...

Shanah Tovah!
Submitted by: TMC, September 29th, 2008 Topic: Messianic Forums -
Monday evening marks the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. During this time, Israelis greet one another with the Hebrew greeting 'Shanah Tovah,' which means 'Happy New Year.' In Israel, it's a national celebration but with deep biblical roots. The city is filled with the sights and sounds of the holiday.
Be BOLD! Be STRONG!!!
Submitted by: Joseph Vitkus, September 24th, 2008 Topic: Messianic Forums - Satan knows the weaknesses of man. He has man's nature down to a science.Greed, sex, alcohol, drugs, gambling, food are the most base weaknesses. So satan uses the modern day media to flaunt his message of "greed is good," sex is great any way that you can get it no matter what form it takes, alcohol is socially acceptable, drugs are the "in thing," gambling is just harmless entertainment, and food is a necessity of life that we should enjoy no matter how much of it we eat.
New Tablet Reveals Messiah's Resurrection
Submitted by: Ahava, September 11th, 2008 Topic: Messianic Forums - A tablet containing over 80 lines of Hebrew was uncovered. Standing 3ft tall, the tablet dates from right before Yeshua's birth and seems to be stirring up the archeological and Biblical worlds because it may talk of a messiah who will rise form the dead after three day. If this message is confirmed, it will cause a re-evaluation of the popular and scholarly views of the role of Yeshua and his crucifixion, death and resurrection.
