Something that has been on my mind a lot lately is prayer. I think that all of us can say we’re not praying as much as we should be.

In the persecuted Chinese church, it is common for believers to pray there for several hours at a time. Yet in North America, we’re so used to everything being quick and instant, that if we pray for 10 minutes in a day we feel like we’ve done our duty.

In Matthew 26:36-46, when Yeshua was in the garden of Gethsemane, He was disappointed to see that His disciples had fallen asleep and couldn’t watch and pray for even an hour. Yet today in our modern times, 1 hour of prayer may seem like a lot!

What do you guys all think of this topic? Prayer is so amazing. It is our communication with our Beloved. I think of it as when we’re in a relationship with someone we love…we want to spend as much time with that person as we can! And Yeshua is the one who loves us the most, so spending time with Him should be so desirable and longed for.
